Lectron Harley Davidson Carburetors
Bikes swapped with Ultima 120 or similar engines may need to use a push-in Mikuni 48 manifold for fit with the HD 400 kits. Upgrading an S&S 111 from the Super E to the HD 400 Lectron will require swapping to the Mikuni 48mm push in manifold. Some bikes may have fit issues using the supplied 2 bolt S&S adapter for the HD 400 kit with stock tanks. Use a Mikuni 48mm manifold when possible. The kit includes:
Harley Carb with our Gen II idle circuit.
33" Barnett Throttle Cable to fit Harley style throttles
3 Bolt Air Filter Adapter (Universal bolt patterns)
2 Bolt Manifold adapter (will also fit stock manifolds)
Metering Rod Adjustment Tool
Shims to adjust spacing
Stunt Mod Notes:
This involves a low fuel pickup, relocating the power jet line, and relocating the vent lines. These mods are done to have consistent fuel delivery and prevent fuel from purging out the vent lines at 12 o'clock. This is NOT require for basic wheelies, burnouts, or aggressive riding. It is only needed for extended 12 o'clock wheelies, 12 o'clock stalls, etc. Note: When upgrading from a smaller carburetor to an HD 400 kit, you may need to purchase a larger intake manifold. This is NOT compatible with an S&S Stealth Air Cleaner System right now.
